Gina Alberta Tester Coleman
(May 8, 1964 - April 6, 2008)

*BEAN BLOSSOM - A motorcyclist died in a northern Brown County
accident Sunday afternoon after a driver slowed for a dog in the road. At 4:38 p.m. Sunday, Gina
Coleman, 43, of Noblesville, was thrown from her motorcycle and into a ditch on Indiana 135 after
colliding with a sports utility vehicle north of Hornettown Road. The truck had slowed when a dog ran into
the roadway, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Department. Her husband, Henry, was following
her on a second motorcycle at the time of the accident.
Deputies arrived about seven minutes after the accident. Fruitdale and Jackson fire departments and a
Columbus Regional Hospital ambulance attempted to treat Gina. Lifeline was initially called to the scene
but after rescue crews determined Gina had died. Gina was wearing a helmet. The cause of her death is
being investigated by the Brown County coroner.
